Back exercises

If you want to have beautiful body never neglect your back. It’s the largest muscle group in your upper body. To thoroughly develop its width and thickness you must put it through a variety of back exercises.


Almost all beginner weight lifters don’t even have any back exercises in their workouts or they don’t know which exercises work and will build up their back. If you you are one of those weight lifters you’d better add back exercises to your workout otherwise you can finish with unbalanced body muscles. #1 (Wide-grip pull-down): Sit at a pull-down machine and grasp the bar with your hands placed 7-10 inches wider than your shoulders. Pull the bar down to your chest. Slowly return the bar in it’s starting position. Repeat.

back_exercise_2[1]#2 (Deadlift): Stand upright with a barbell resting over the bridge of your feet. Keep your knees slightly bent and feet shoulder-width apart, bend down and grab the bar with an overhand grip. Keep your back slightly arched by sticking your chest out and pulling your shoulders back. Look straight ahead or slightly up and keep your shoulders over the bar. Keeping your arms straight stand upright. Don’t exaggerate the lockout simply stand erect. Lower the bar slowly and repeat. Breathe in before you pull, and exhale when the bar is over your knees or when you’re standing upright.


#3 (Bent-over barbell row): Stand holding a barbell with a wideoverhand grip and your armsback_exercise_3[1] extended downward in front of you. Bend your knees slightly and bend your waist at about 45 degrees. Keeping your back in its natural arch, with your head up and chest out lift the barbell up toward your upper abdomen slowly return to the starting position and repeat.

Use the exercises above to build up your back but there is no guarantee that they will work for you like they did to me.
